1. Payment and Confirmation.
To confirm your booking with us please send us the deposit/full payment amount as specified on the Booking Form. The deposit will be retained and go towards the payment of the total cost of the arrangements. A confirmation of acknowledgement will be sent to you in due course.
2. Alteration to confirmed booking by Cubawelcome.
It is unlikely that we will have to make any alteration to your reservation, but please bear in mind that arrangements are made many months in advance so sometimes we may need to make minor changes, which we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes are very minor, but where they are significant, we will inform you when you book or if you have already booked, as soon as it is reasonably possible. Any flight timings and carriers detailed in this circular are subject to change as a result of airline procedure. If a major change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible and, providing it does not arise from circumstances amounting to force majeure, you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements or cancelling your reservation, with full refund of money paid.
3. Cancellation of confirmed booking by Cubawelcome.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel after the date the final balance of your holiday cost falls due, we will in addition pay you compensation as set out below subject to the following exemptions. We cannot pay any compensation or accept liability where the change or cancellation is made as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care. In addition, compensation will not be payable if we have to cancel because an insufficient number of people have booked your chosen holiday (in the case of escorted tours) – however, you will be notified not less than eight weeks before departure.

Compensation payment will not apply when charges are caused due to force majeure i.e. Acts of God, reason of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, technical problems or congestion of airports or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control.
4. Prices.
The price of your holiday is subject to surcharges on the following items: Government action, currency, land and sea transportation fuel, aircraft fuel, overflying charges, airport charges and taxes.
5. Cancellation of confirmed booking by client.
After acceptance of the booking if the client cancels his/her arrangements or does not pay the balance of the tour price by the prescribed time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and in such cases the client will forfeit the deposit. In addition, if either event occur within 60 days of departure, the following cancellation fees become payable by the client. If the flight ticket has been issued, there will be no refund for this.
Period before departure within which such written cancellation is received by this office:
More than 56 days: Loss of deposit.
56 - 43 Days prior departure: Loss of 40% of cost of individual arrangement.
42 - 29 Days prior departure: Loss of 55% of cost of individual arrangement.
28 - 01 Days prior departure:Loss of 90% of cost of individual arrangement.
6. Responsibility for standard.
The tour/travel arrangements described are provided to a reasonable standard. Where carriage is by air or sea, we shall be entitled to limit our liability in the manner provided by international convention.
7. Delays:
In the unlikely event of a delay to your flight, we do not accept any liability or claim for compensation resulting from delay, as the welfare of clients is the responsibility of the airline during this time.
8. Insurance.
You must take adequate comprehensive travel insurance cover for your trip. You may have to take out additional special cover for activities such as sailing and scuba diving.
