Tour of the West (8 days,7 nights) This tour enables you to get to know the real Cuba as it embraces the culture of Havana, the rural heartland of the tobacco plantations, the ecological trails in the Sierra del Rosario mountain range and the beaches of the Caribbean. All transfers and transport are included and their is a bilingual guide for every excursion and visit. The tour departs Monday to Sunday with a minimum of two people. This tour is ideal to combine with an extension such as a week at a Beach Resort. Please contact us for details.     photo: tropical plant at La Moka Itinerary Day 1 Meet on arrival at Havana airport with private transfer to your hotel in old Havana. Dinner is provided for clients on Half board basis. Day 2 After breakfast, pick up at your hotel and full-day city tour of Havana begins with visits to all the important sites of old and Colonial Havana. Horse carriage drive around the perimeter of the old city. Vist to the well-known artists' studios of Nelson Dominguez and Carmen Montilla. Lunch at the Cafe Taberna. Afternoon tour of modern Havana in 1950's classic American car. Terminate at hotel. Dinner at La Mina restaurant and asssitance for Cannon shooting ceremony in evening. -photo: La Moka Hotel Day 3 After breakfast, depart Havana for Pinar del Rio province to Las Terrazas eco-reserve and book into La Moka lodge hotel for next 3 nights. Free time to explore local area. Possibility to hire bicycles and scooters at La Moka. Dinner at the hotel. Day 4 After breakfast, full day tour around Las Terrazas area with a visit to the former Buenavista Coffee plantations founded at the beginning of the 19th century by French immigrants fleeing from Haiti. Lunch with drink included. Day 5   Day 6   Day 7   Day 8       After breakfast, full day excursion to the remote Island of Cayo Levisa with its deserted, white sandy beaches. Lunch and drink included. Dinner back at La Moka hotel. After breakfast, depart to the spectacular Vinales valley and book into the Hotel Los Jazmines or La Ermita for the next two nights, both with swimming pools and stunning views over the valley. Dinner at the hotel. Half day vist to the Vinales valley including visits to the Indian caves and the Mural of prehistoric paintings. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at hotel. Breakfast. Transfer to Havana airport or EXTENSION OF THE HOLIDAY. Price per person: £670 plus £75 half-board supplement.
