CUBAWELCOME PRESENTS HAVANA'S FIRST REAL LUXURY HOTEL Hotel location and History The Saratoga Hotel which is due to open on November 1st 2005, has been painstakingly restored from the original Saratoga hotel building which became legendary for its fine cuisine, its orchestra performances such as the famous group 'Anacaona' and frequent visits from well-known personalities. This elegant, colonial-style building is situated on the corner of "Prado" Avenue and "Dragones" in old Havana with spectacular views of the Capitolio building, the Fraternity Park, the prestigious Partagás Cigar Factory and the Grand Theatre. There is a pool on the roof where there is also a magnificent viewpoint of almost 180 degrees taking in the Bay of Havana and Fortress of "San Carlos de la Cabaña" and to the southwest offers panoramic views of distant zones of the Capital. The construction combines in its inner design, traditional elements with the most modern technologies, to guarantee the best service and the comfort of its guests and clients. There are 21 smoking bedrooms. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, satellite and interactive TV, hair driers, access to internet, 24 hour room service, laundry, safe box, mini-bar, telephones. The Saratoga rooms and suites have DVD facilities.
RESTAURANT AND BAR FACILITIES The Anacaona Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The head chef is foreign. The Anacaona bar is open from 07:00 to 23:00 hours. There is a Mezzanine bar and also the spectacular rooftop Piscine bar by the outdoor swimmimg pool.
